ModVans 215W to 290W Ultra Efficient Flexible Solar Panel

Our solar panels are custom designed for RV applications and they are the best on the market. They weigh less. They output more power in the same space. They conform to the lines of your roof. They look cool! We use the highest efficiency commercially available solar cells on the market and laminate them with great looking, durable, flexible and lightweight clear plastic. Unlike white or black panels that stand out like a sore thumb, our clear panels allow our RVs paint to show through.

Space on the roof of your RV is limited. There is a small amount of space available to begin with, but you also need space for items such as fans and A/Cs. Panels with the highest output solar cells cost more, but they give you more watts in same space.

Weight, thickness and shape are also factors. More weight on the roof increases the RV's center of gravity, making it handle worse and more prone to rollover accidents. Panels made of lightweight materials weigh less than relatively heavy glass panels. Flexible panels can conform to curved rooflines. Thin panels have less wind resistance, reducing both drag and noise.

Our panels are typically wired in series to reduce wire size. Note carefully the maximum voltages. Running 2 or more of these high output panels in series can push typical solar charger controllers past their current and voltage limits!
