ModVans Bump Out
ModVans has received a Notice of Allowance on its utility patent for our innovative bump out! Our bump out is the biggest and best looking on the market! It allows a true 80"x60" Queen Size bed, the ability to install great looking, full size windows and, on extended length vans, it allows the deepest kitchen counter in any Class B RV. Basically, the ModVans bump out gives you all the comfort of a Class B+ RV yet it stays within within the width of an Off-Road Adventure Van, giving you the best of both worlds!
To make our bump out strong and light, we used the same techniques used to build high end airplane wings. The bump out is a vacuum infusion composite sandwich panel made with the highest quality materials.
The standard exterior finish is a high grade, gray "sanding gelcoat," formulated to underlay a sealer plus OEM matching base coat + clear coat paint. You can also have us paint your top to match your van's exterior color with high-quality OEM matching automotive sealer, base and clear coat.
The bump out can be installed with or without windows. You can install "bunk windows," but the bump out is designed to allow installation of full size factory windows or factory size aftermarket opening windows. Factory windows are installed with standard urethane automotive window adhesives. Contact our sales team for install services, including window installation.
