Modern vans typically store the spare tire under the van. This location will not fit a larger than stock tire. If you want to take along a full-sized spare tire, we recommend adding a tire/ladder combo. Based on real world experience, the ModVans version is beefier, taller and has more user friendly ladder rungs (check out the video). For the Ford Transit, we have two different models to fit the 3 different Transit roof heights. Please specify your tire size when ordering.
