ModVans Popup Top Bed
he ModVans popup top is the largest and best looking popup top on the market. Our popup top beds are the largest, strongest and most comfortable. We designed our tops so that the lift mechanism is outside the van. This keeps it from intruding into your personal space or interfering with your bedding when the top is lowered.
Our bed panels are made from anodized aluminum honeycomb panels. Unlike heavy plywood bed panels that can creak or sag in the middle, our panels are lightweight and incredibly stiff and strong. The underside of the bed forms a flat, bright and clean looking ceiling.
Long Van Popup Top Bed: 4' x 6.5' x 5" thick with removable cushion covers. Our carefully engineered cushions have 3 layers: Memory Foam, Medium Density Foam and Firm Foam. The memory foam gives the bed that great, soft feel that most people love. Medium Density Foam provides support. Firm foam keeps you from "bottoming out" onto the hard bed panels.
Extended Van Popup Top Bed: Full XL – 54” x 80” x 3" thick medium density foam with removable cushion cover.
All Popup Top Beds include a compatible bunk ladder for climbing into the bed from inside the van.
A good night's sleep is key to great outdoor adventures and one of the primary motivations for upgrading from camping in tent, pickup truck or SUV. We knew we wanted great beds, so we took our time getting this right. Once upon a time, the only way to get a comfortable mattress was to use bulky and heavy springs. Modern innovations in foam have given us new possibilities. Our design goal was to have a lightweight mattress that is as good or better than your home mattress yet still fit in the tight confines of the closed popup top. Fortunately, we were able to get the assistance of an excellent, local, mattress specific foam supplier.
The final product is a multi-layer foam mattress that works great for all types of sleepers, including back and side sleepers. Our customers never replace our bed cushions or add memory foam toppers. You'll never want sleep on the ground again.
