ModVans Window Covers with Integrated Window Trim
In Adventure Vans, insulated window covers are prefered over blinds because they are insulated, seal out the light better and don't rattle or break when driving off-road. ModVans window shades solve several problems we encountered with other brands.
Some customers prefer to remove all the shades when not in use while others want to roll them up and down in place. To hold the the shades firmly on top, we use toggles. To help seal out the light, we use magnets at the bottom. The combination of toggles and magnets makes our covers rugged enough to roll up and down when installed yet fast and easy to remove or reinstall.
So our covers can work with almost all wall finishes, including upholstery, we integrated the toggles and magnets into a black trim ring that is glued in place. The trim ring has a channel for the adhesive bead and creates a finished edge around the window opening. The trim ring is designed to fit closely around the Transit OEM windows. If you don't want to install the trim ring, it is possible to relocate the toggles and magnets.
The front windshield cover is held in place by the window frame, rearview mirror and sun visors. The cab window covers are held in place with magnets built into the covers.
The covers are stitched and insulated in a way that makes them reasonable easy to roll up.
The set will includes covers and trim for all windows. Except for warranties and repairs, we do not offer partial sets or individual covers for sale.
